On June 28, 2008, Nevada Republican delegates brought their convention out of recess. During the convention, the delegates ratified the platform as adopted on April 16 (available here), accepted the delegates that were being elected through each Congressional District...and elected delegates to represent Nevada at the National Republican Convention.

In the spirit of being fair and transparent, footage from April 26 and June 28 is available from Dennis Grover on his website www.LibertyAndJusticeForAll.tv.

On July 25, Nevada Delegates for Fairness went to court to try to defend this slate of duly elected delegates, but the judge refused to rule on the case at this time. The judge did not feel that he had juristriction to rule in the matter because he felt that it was a matter of party politics. However, it was a clear violation of the law. Not only did the Party leadership refuse to recognize the convention on June 28 and cancel their event that was supposed to take place on July 26, but their lawyer announced plans for the Party Leadership to appoint delegates behind closed doors at some point during the day. It would be at a secret time at a secret location.

For weeks, Party leadership refused to announced the names of the people that they appointed behind closed doors. Finally, on August 14, Sue Lowden released the list of names on her blog at http://suelowden.blogivists.com/2008/08/14/nevada-delegates-to-gop-national-convention/.

Unfortunately, only one of the names of duly elected delegates (Danny Tarkanian) made the list. Here are the names of the people that the party appointed behind closed doors:
